Company History

J Hockenberry Environmental Services, Inc. (previously known as Melius & Hockenberry Services) originated in 1995 and was incorporated in 1996. Jacqueline Hockenberry and Wendy Melius had worked together at a large consulting firm and circumstances brought the two together as a team.

The company originally operated out of Jackie’s home and then moved to our current location along William Penn Avenue in East Taylor Township, Cambria County near Johnstown, Pennsylvania. Over the years we have completed projects from simple wetland delineations to complex projects involving numerous sub-projects within a large land development initiative.
